Bishop is a small, diverse, and inclusive neighborhood community school. Through strong community partnerships and extra curricular activities, Bishop is a pillar of the community.

Our teachers plan and instruct to meet the differentiated needs of all learners based on our Colorado Academic Standards which are based on the Common Core State Standards. Our programming and evidence based curriculum meet each student’s academic and social/emotional needs.

Bishop students can participate in a wide variety of after school clubs and activities, including before and after school childcare.

Every Bishop student attends a Science, Technology, Engineering Arts and Math (STEAM) class at least once a week. Our school has a state-of-the art SMART lab as well as a dedicated STEAM instructor.

Bishop offers full day kindergarten for all students. Bishop kindergarten students have access to enriching curriculum and specials such as art, music, P.E. and STEAM.
